Materials that cannot be Disposed of in the C&D Landfill:
- Waste generated outside of Nash County
- Asbestos cannot be accepted at the Nash County C&D Landfill or convenience centers.
- Hazardous Waste is not accepted (including wet paint, stains, varnishes, and other solvents).
- Household garbage is only accepted at the convenience centers.
- Liquid waste is not accepted.
- Furniture, unless part of the demolition process, is accepted at the convenience centers.
- Used oil and filters accepted at all the convenience centers except Vicks, Site #4 at 3084 NC 58 S, Nashville
- Electronics are only accepted at the convenience centers.
- Fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent lights are only accepted at the convenience centers.
- Antifreeze accepted at the Landfill Convenience Center, Site #7 at 3057 Duke Rd, Nashville.
- Batteries are only accepted at the convenience centers.
- Aluminum cans and plastic bottles are only accepted at the convenience centers.
