The Health Education and Planning team purchases and develops educational information, such as brochures on many health topics. However, supplies are often limited. To request educational materials, please fill out the "Request for Information" form on the Health Education & Planning page. If your request has a time limit, please give us at least two weeks' notice. For questions or assistance about the form, contact us at 252-459-9819.

Health Education and Planning staff often attend health fairs or conduct group presentations to share information on general health department services as well as on specific topics such as diabetes, nutrition, etc. as requested. Please fill out the "Request for Information" form on the Health Education & Planning page and someone will reach out to you as soon as possible. Give at least a two-week notice for presentations or events. Please note that there is no guarantee that the Health Department will attend an event or do a presentation if you fill out the form or call for assistance.
